Adventures in Indonesia

People are extremely biased. For some reason, a dangerous place has the image of being Indonesia to visit. Some call political violence and terrorism, while others seem to think that daily natural occurrences are erupting volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis. It is true that as a huge and socio-politically highly diverse nation Indonesia is very complex and has seen its share of misery due to political instability in its growing pains, I would like to stress, that is to visit a place not only Indonesia, but that its people are can be warm and friendly and not yet jaded by greedy tourism as other countries. On the prosecution of terrorism in Bali and Jakarta, it is true that occurred, and nobody can excuse it or reduce its tragic effects. However it is an anomaly, no serious danger Indonesia.

Simply put, is Indonesia of one of the last places on Earth where you now, even the most can see the Earth of the finest. Two things to mention people rarely on Indonesia are the fact that many of them incredibly would astound an amazing pristine garden of Eden’s sights, and that unfortunately this garden like all the other untouched areas of the Earth disappears quickly under the axe of the man.

How could anyone not want to Indonesia to see? It is home to the world’s largest flower which is the largest butterflies, birds, to defy the imagination and to digest more massive flower, species and location, a baby monkey world. Thousand multiply up there, and you can get an idea of the natural tapestry of Indonesia. The bed on which this quilt of life is based, is the life that it supports parallel in Majesty. Gorgeous mountains and volcanoes, sheer breathtaking cliffs and peculiar Island, turquoise seas and hidden lagoons, Indonesia has a monopoly on the natural beauty you will find anywhere else.

Dive into the great Mayan reef in Puerto Morelos, Mexico

Twenty-five feet underwater, I am with my knees in the sand, deliberately my breathing consciously the gentle rocking mean watery atmosphere resting-I do I feel at home. I wanted to learn diving for years. Well, here I am from the coast of Puerto Morelos Mexico on the great Maya reef, more formally known as the Mesoamerican barrier reef, the second largest reef in the world. After a week studying, taking tests and go over safety procedures again and again I thought I was still nervous plunges into the depths. I was not. I crushed my mask on my face, accentuated wrapped my lips around my regulator the strap on my BCD and rolled backward over the edge of the boat.

Now I’m kneeling on the ocean floor. Coral wall towers which extends about me to my right and corn flour sand in the blue to my left. An endangered green sea turtle nibbles turtle grass. He both the grass wave in the undersea wind. I breathe and my lungs allows me the extra air to slowly rise from the ocean floor. I parallel to the ground to stretch, my hands on my waist easily and use you the strength of my bright yellow fins, my body forward – to drive like a fish. I blend in.

A southern Sting Ray hides in the sand. Its tell tale outline gives him away. He wriggles free, accompanied me for a few meters and buries itself. I slip into a living corridor where fluorescent plum and gold fairy Basslets dart about on a narrow ledge and silvery yellow Tail Snapper mass through a window into the reef. A crayfish scuttles back into his hole madly waved his antenna Sword-shaped me.

The walls of the Canyon are dwindling and I find myself on an undersea garden fly. Mounds nubby brain coral sprout from the seabed like bushes in one field leafy purple sea fans. Bronze Christmas tree worms bloom like animated flowers, popping out, showing off their jaw needly hair and popping back again. A spotted trunk fish flapping its translucent flowed. Hovering like a hummingbird, but it looks more like a balloon of kissy-lipped squarish, polka dots.

Finally I to follow my bubble to the surface and reluctantly back to climb on board. We gaze speed back above the water and I out of its glittering surface a populated Ness wraps his arms around me. Isaac, our captain pulls the boat almost to the beach and a yellow buoy anchored. I jump in knee deep water and bid of my new dive buddies good bye, “Hasta Luego!”

Alone, I down to the beach to hiking and find an outdoor café where I have a parts spicy shrimp cocktail with the Sun and the wind and fresh air. A woman stops me. It has, asks blond hair and blue eyes like me and you, in English, “You are life doing here?” You wonder if the restaurant take credit cards. I don’t know. As you walk off I wonder why you kept me for a local. Maybe you just realized that I would finally come home.
